The Greeneville City Council has approved installation of a streetlight on Oak Grove Road.
STREET LIGHT AT WILDWOOD LANDING
The light will be located between the intersections of Sweet Pea Trail, which lead into Wildwood Landing. The Homeowners Association had requested the light for the safety of school children where they gather to catch the bus. Scott Keith with Public Works told City Council members Tuesday the cost of the installation will be between $500 and $1,000.
PEDESTRIAN PUSH BUTTONS DOWNTOWN
Logan Ricker with Public Works also explained to council members how installation of Wavetronix vehicle detection and ADA audible pedestrian push buttons will assist pedestrians as well as traffic flow along Main Street at the Church Street, Depot and Summer Street intersections. Remaining Depot Street project money will also be used for this project.
