Two Chuckey residents have been identified as the victims of a fatal crash over the weekend on Highway 11-E in front of Grandview School in Telford.
According to Washington County Sheriff Keith Sexton, both David L. Doty and his wife Donna K. Doty died as a result of the crash. David Doty passed away at the scene. Donna Doty, along with the driver of the other vehicle, were both transported to a local hospital. Donna Doty passed away at the hospital. The driver of the other vehicle is expected to recover.
Both north and south bound lanes were closed for about three hours while the accident cleanup and investigation took place following the 2 pm crash.
Washington County Sheriff’s deputies are continuing to investigate the fatal accident.
