Police made an arrest Saturday morning for public intoxication, in a parking lot on West Summer Street.
Officers responded to a call of a suspicious person around 7:45 AM Saturday, and found a man identified as Zacharie Wells, from Arnold Road, inside a black Nissan Xterra. According to the report, Wells was behind the wheel of the car and appeared intoxicated. When asked if the car was his, he reportedly said it was not and stated it was “weird” that he was in it.
Officers could not locate the keys to the car on Wells and found no contraband in the vehicle. Wells was transported to the Greene County Jail, without incident.
