Beginning this weekend, a heat wave, sometimes called a heat dome, will cover the entire southeast United States, including locally.
This will likely make July the hottest on record in many cities in what will be one of the hottest summers ever recorded as well.
The latest forecast from the Morristown Office of the National Weather Service expects highs of 91 on Saturday and Sunday, with 92 degrees on Monday, 94 Tuesday and 95 on Wednesday.
