Two people were arrested yesterday after being found in a camper on property in the 700 block of Cumberland Drive off Highway 107.
Responding initially to a simple assault call , a warrant check at that address led to the arrest of 40 year old Ashley Soto who was taken into custody without incident.
But 53 year old Billy Anderson did not go as easily. Authorities say Anderson began screaming and making threats from inside. After a short time he came to the front door with a metal lock in his hand and refused to exit. As deputies attempted to arrest him, he became physically combative while refusing to comply. After a short altercation, he was taken into custody. In addition to Violation of Probation 4th offense and failure to appear, he faces additional charges related to the incident Tuesday assault on an officer and resisting arrest.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department and Tusculum Police both responded to the scene .
