Police were called to the 700 block of Carson Street Friday night, to receive a report of threats made against an individual. They spoke with the complainant, Thomas Larkin, who reportedly became agitated with the questions he was being asked. Officers stated in the report that Larkin had a strong odor of alcohol coming from his person and slurred speech.
According to the report, several more attempts were made to take Larkin’s statement, and then he was told to step back inside his residence. He did so, but allegedly continued to scream at the officers, and stepped outside into the parking lot, where officers said he was under arrest. Larkin was assisted to the ground after he attempted to return to the residence.
Paxton was placed into custody, charged with Public Intoxication and Resting Stop and Arrest.
