The Tennessee Highway Patrol says two men were injured when their motorcycles collided shortly before 9:40 last night in the 9900 block of the Horton Highway.
The THP report indicates the eastbound 1996 Harley-Davidson, operated by 54 year old Robert Raynor, turned into the path of a 2004 Kawasaki operated by 61 year old Cecil Gregg. The two vehicles, the report says then collided in a sideswipe fashion. Both vehicles then came to rest in the roadway. One of the two, although the report does not indicate which, was flown from the scene by Highlands Emergency Air Rescue to an area hospital. Condition updates on either man have not been reported. Charges are pending against both riders.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department, Greeneville Emergency and Rescue Squad, Greene County EMS and the United Volunteer Fire Department also responded to the scene
