Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee will be participating in the Summer Food Service Program.
The First Tennessee Human Resources Agency is providing the Summer Food Service Program, which began on May 28 and will continue through July 30, 2025. The program offers free weekly meal boxes for children in Carter, Unicoi, and Greene counties. In Greene County, families can pick up five days’ worth of shelf-stable breakfasts and lunches every Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the fairgrounds parking lot.
In addition to the Human Resources Agency’s meal box distributions, Second Harvest Food Bank will be delivering free food to several communities in the Greeneville and Greene County area.
The Food Bank will distribute seven-day meal kits once a week at designated times and locations.

Greeneville Terrace Apartments: 1:40 p.m. – 2:20 p.m.
Thursday Locations:

Greenwood United Methodist Church: 11:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.

Encompass Church: 12:30 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.
