The First Tennessee Human Resources Agency presents the Summer Food Service Program, serving multiple counties, including Greene County.
The program distributes food to children in Carter, Unicoi, and Greene Counties once a week. It began on May 28, 2025, and will run through July 30, 2025.
Greene County families can bring their children to the fairgrounds parking lot every Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, where they will receive a meal box containing five days’ worth of shelf-stable breakfast and lunch items.
All meals are provided at no cost to children and are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
