A Johnson City woman faces motor vehicle theft charges following an incident Sunday morning.
Matthew Luttrell of Nathaniel Court in Johnson City contacted Greeneville Police to report his 2006 Buick Rendezvoux stolen by Krista Hensley of that same address.
The man told Police she was headed to Walmart in Greeneville and authorities later stopped the car near the Tusculum By-Pass.
Hensley was charged with theft and driving on a suspended license and was taken into custody with further incident.
