The Tennessee Highway Patrol reports one person was injured in a rollover type accident Wednesday afternoon in the fifty six hundred block of the Erwin Highway (Highway 107).
According to the report released Thursday, a 2009 Toyota Tacoma driven by 59 year old Charles Brown was traveling toward Greeneville when for unknown reasons, the driver lost control of the vehicle, traveled across the roadway and into a ditch where it rolled on its side.
The Tusculum Volunteer Fire Department responded and assisted the driver out of the vehicle. He was taken by Greeneville/Greene County EMS to an area hospital. The Greene County Sheriff’s Department also responded to the scene.
