A Memphis man has been charged with first-degree murder after a body was found in a Greene County motel room on Sunday.
The Mosheim Police Department and agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation began investigating the circumstances leading to the death of 52-year-old Nicole Lynnette Terry of Las Vegas after she was found deceased in a motel room located along Speedway Lane in Bulls Gap.
During the course of the investigation, 61-year-old Kendle Newson of Memphis was identified as the suspect. According to a press release issued Tuesday afternoon by the Mosheim Police Department, Newson was charged with first-degree murder and is currently being held at the Greene County Detention Center.
