The Greeneville City Board of Education will consider the $2,000 state allocated one time bonus for its teachers during the April meeting of the board Thursday night.
The bonus, a part of the Governor’s voucher program, calls for school systems to either opt in or out of the funding. It does not require the school system to support the overall voucher program, but does require school board action.
The Greene County Board of Education approved the bonus for its teachers last month.
The City Board of Education meets at 7:15 Thursday night following the Joint Board of Education meeting at the Greene Tech Center
