Members of the Greeneville Municipal Airport Authority and several hangar tenants gathered at the GEA building Monday to iron out some differences in a proposed lease agreement between the two. Vote on an earlier lease agreement had been delayed amidst concerns by some tenants over some of the verbiage in the originally proposed document.
In a hour and a half plus long workshop, Todd Hensley, speaking on behalf of several tenants, Dr. William Smead, and others commented as they worked through the full lease agreement proposal with Authority board members.
Airport Authority Chair Paul McAfee says he will take suggestions to Town Attorney Ron Woods for the changes and present the newest agreement at an upcoming Airport Authority Board meeting.
