Hangar rental fees at the Greeneville Municipal Airport will increase effective June 1st following action by the Airport Authority during their April meeting on Wednesday afternoon.
The 15% increase in the hangar rates had been approved earlier this year along with a new lease agreement but then put on hold over concerns by some users of the hangars over verbiage in the agreement. Most at the meeting Wednesday didn’t seem to have a problem with the rate increase, but did have concerns over the original lease agreement as approved.
In an effort to address a new lease agreement proposal, the Airport Authority scheduled a workshop for next Monday, April 21st at 4 in the G. Thomas Love Boardroom at the GEA building.
The Airport Authority also approved the 2025-2026 Fiscal Year Budget Wednesday.
