Bids were opened Thursday afternoon from those hoping to win the job to build a new bathhouse in the camping area at Kinser Park.
The old one was destroyed by the September flooding.
Submitted bids were:
Weems Excavating – Afton – $298,144 with completion in 90 days
Andrews & Hoskins Construction -Talbott – $227,000 with completion in 100 days
Skilled Services – Knoxville – $399,900 with completion in 150 days
The bids will be submitted to the purchasing committee later this month for consideration , with their recommendation presented to the full County Commission for official action.
