This will be year ten of the Depot Street Farmers Market although the event will be held in the Greene County Partnership parking lot for a fifth consecutive year.
Event organizer Mary Goodman says the Farmers Market will begin the first Saturday in May and run through October except for Iris Festival weekend
Prior to approval of a special event application Tuesday at the City Council meeting, Goodman told board members there is a waiting list for vendors. She did request the council remember them when phase three of the Depot Street project is finished. That location is where the event was held for the first five years, prior to construction moving them to the Partnership property.
