Just under two million tons, 1.4 million cubic yards of debris has been removed from area waterways affected by the September flooding in upper East Tennessee.
That was one of the staggering stats announced last night , as several local residents attended an informational gathering at the Rescue Squad building on Church Street in Greeneville.
