Greene County Republican Party Elects Officers

Tom Bible has been elected Chairman of the Greene County Republican Party.

Reorganization of the board took place during the monthly party meeting, electing officers for the next two-year period.

CHAIRMAN – Tom Bible

VICE CHAIRMAN – Carolynn Kinser

TREASURER – Alan Marsh

VICE TREASURER – Vera Cox

SECRETARY – Sue Starnes

The new officers’ terms officially begin April 1.

They will serve on the County Executive Committee in addition to outgoing Chair Brett Purgason, America First Federation President Debbie Corey, State Executive Committee Woman Nancy Wilson and State Executive Committee Man Josh Collins.

Committee Woman Wilson swore in the officers following their election by acclimation.

AMERICAN FIRST FEDERATION WOMEN

The next local meeting will be Monday, March 10 at the VFW. The meal will begin at 5 with the meeting at 5:30. State President Sharon Boreing will be the guest speaker.

REPUBLICAN WOMEN

The Greene County Republican Women will meet again on Thursday, April 10th at the New Harvest Family Restaurant at Noon. Greene County School Board Chair Rick Tipton will be the guest speaker.
