The case of a man charged in connection with a hit-and-run accident involving a Greene County School bus has been bound over to the Greene County Grand Jury.
31-year-old Mickey Jeanphillipe is facing charges of reckless endangerment, leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage, failure to make immediate notice of an accident, following too close, driving without a license, violation of the financial responsibility law, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The wreck occurred Wednesday, February 12th on Cedar Creek Road near the Dodd Branch Road intersection.
The bus was stopped to drop off a student when a truck driven by Jeanphillipe failed to stop and collided with the rear of the bus. He then reportedly fled the scene.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Jeanphillipe turned himself in at the Greene County Detention Center on February 13th where he was served with warrants in connection with the crash. Neither he or his passenger were injured.
The bus driver and nine students on board were also uninjured.
