Braving the cold , a small crowd gathered for the first of two protests planned in downtown Greeneville.
Sullivan County Democratic Party Vice Chair Linda Bolt was in attendance to show support.
Today’s protest was being held on the same day as “national protest walk ” events are being held across the country and a part of the Democrat party “Operation Take Back Our Flag.”
Another protest is planned for March 1 at 4:30 p.m. in front of the General Morgan Inn, and by design, that is prior to the Lincoln Day Dinner, sponsored by the Greene County Republican Women, also at the General Morgan Inn.
