Nearly $3000 worth of items were stolen from the Greeneville Commons Saturday evening.
The Greeneville Police report stated that several women entered Bath and Body Works on Tusculum Boulevard Saturday around 6:30 PM. They began putting items in baskets as well as their clothes and then left the store with the items but without paying. Then the women came back into the store, filled up baskets, and left without paying a second time.
The report stated the police have the make, model, and license plate of the white car the five women drove away in, as well as their descriptions.
Value of the items stolen came to about $2900. The investigation is continuing.
