While the Kinser Bridge and Ernest Bridge are state projects, Mayor Kevin Morriston reports both appear to be on schedule for mid 2025 full openings.
Mark Nagi with TDOT told Radio Greeneville News this week that recent work at the Kinser Bridge site included construction of a causeway for geotechnical exploration, and drilling for bridge shafts is underway. Procurement of girder and shaft casing is underway, and the Chuckey Utility line that needs placement is currently being coordinated.
