The Greeneville City Council meets this Tuesday at 4 p.m.
The council is scheduled to consider four special event requests this year in downtown Greeneville.
The event requests include one for the Greeneville City Schools Education Foundation to host a “Mardi Growl Dog Parade” on March 1, an application from Keep Greene Beautiful to host the Iris Festival Kick-Off 3 Mile Run and Walk on May 13, the Greene County Partnership to host Brewfest on May 17 and an application for the Mattie J CPR Foundation to host Duck Dash 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run on May 24.
The City Council will meet Tuesday at 4:00 PM in the G. Thomas Love Boardroom of the Greeneville Energy Authority building, 110 N. College Street.
