A Mosheim man has been charged after he cut off his girlfriends ponytail, leading to a domestic disturbance arrest.
According to the report, Thad H. Vanover on Main Street, Mosheim was brading the woman’s hair, but when finished, he reportedly used a pair of scissors to cut off the footlong ponytail.
It was then that the verbal argument ensued, leading to her attempting to call 9-1-1 but him taking the phone from her.
When deputies arrived, Vanover was taken into custody on a charge of aggravated domestic assault.
The Sheriff’s Department report said the ponytail was valued at $10.
