The National Weather Service reported at 3:21 this morning a mixture of rain and snow will continue across portions of the northern Plateau and northeast Tennessee until around 9 am.
Most locations where snow occurs will see less than an inch of snow accumulation, although a few mainly higher elevation areas may see up to 2 inches.
The light snowfall may produce some snow covered roadways by early morning, especially secondary roads, bridges and over passes and higher elevations. Drive with caution and slow down.
