Police had to use a taser when they tried to serve an active warrant to Shain Harmon on Locust Street Friday afternoon.
Police found Harmon in the driver’s seat of a vehicle and reportedly informed him of his warrant for violation of probation. According to the report, Harmon was told repeatedly to exit the vehicle but he refused.
Three officers had to remove Harmon from the vehicle, during which time an officer had to stun him with a taser in order to gain Harmon’s compliance. Harmon was then taken to the Greene County detention center where he was served the warrant and charged with resisting arrest.
