Volunteers with the Camp Creek Volunteer Fire Department and Greeneville Emergency & Rescue Squad had to stabilize a car in order to extricate the occupants after a wreck Wednesday night.
The accident happened on South Water Fork Road near the Greystone community around 7:30 PM. A van appeared to have left the roadway and came to rest in a ditch laying over on the passengers side.
Rescuers stabilized the car and pried open the doors to free the occupants. EMS and the Greene County Sheriff’s Department also responded.
