A Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect for the higher elevations today from 1:00 pm until 1:00 am on Tuesday.
In those higher elevations, snow is expected with total snow accumulations 1 to 3 inches, with up to 4 inches on the highest mountain peaks.
Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday evening commute.
Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
