A man living in Greeneville and wanted on over 600 child abuse charges in Butler, Pennsylvania was arrested in Greeneville Thursday.
43 year old Harold J. Stahlman was taken into custody at a residence on Bible Acres Lane.
In his Sheriff’s Department report, Deputy Bryan Shelton says Greene County was contacted by Pennsylvania State Police with Stahlman’s location.
Pennsylvania State Police Detectives were in Greene County and requested the local Sheriff’s Department respond with them to the location.
Stahlman was then taken into custody and charged locally with being a fugitive from justice.
Pennsylvania State Police, who had a full extradition warrant out of their state, will transport Stahlman back to Pennsylvania. There he is scheduled to face the hundreds of charges of sexually assaulting the child in Slippery Rock between 2011 and 2020.
