Volunteers from the United, Mosheim, and Town of Mosheim Volunteer Fire Deparments and the Persia Volunteer Fire Department from Hawkins County, responded to a house fire on Dude Lane off Lonesome Pine Trail shorty before 7:00 am today.
The mobile home was fully engulfed when first responders arrived.
Everyone inside the home was accounted for. EMS, Greene County Sheriff’s Department, and Greeneville Energy Authority responded. Greene County Chaplain Danny Ricker was also on the scene. The Midway Volunteer Fire Department was called on stand-by to respond to calls in the Mosheim area while those firefighters were on the scene.
The fire was brought under control just before 9:00 AM.
