For those awaiting word on pending Small Business Administration loans related to damage from the September flooding, it’s back to business. That’s according to SBA Public Affairs Specialist Chasity Reid.
Reid told members of the Tusculum Board of Mayor and Commissioners last night that over the weekend when Congress approved the American Relief Act, it restored funds to SBA. SBA Redi says is back in processing mode.
There is a backload of 21,000 loans but those are being addressed.
Applications are still being accepted as well prior to the deadline for applications which is January 7th for physical damage and July 2nd for economic damage.
