The membership of the County Officials Association of Tennessee (COAT) collected donations for the eight East Tennessee counties impacted by the flood at their annual conference held in Nashville in November.
COAT Executive Director Ben Rodgers and COAT Director of Communications & Marketing Lori Long visited Greene County on Friday, December 20, to present Greene County with its allocation of the donations ($2,085).
Present for the presentation were COAT Executive Director Ben Rodgers, County Trustee Nathan Holt, Register of Deeds Karen Ottinger, COAT Director of Communications & Marketing Lori Long.
Unable to attend were County Clerk Lori Bryant, Circuit Court Clerk Whitney Collins and Clerk & Master Bland Justis.
