In Bristol, Virginia, fire overnight destroyed the main building and several other buildings on the former Virginia Intermont College campus today.
Shortly after 1 am , local and area fire departments responded to the multi-alarm blaze. News reports indicate the building collapsed around 2 am.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, having been one of multiple fires on the campus in the last few years, including one at the former library building in November.
