An Old Kentucky Road West woman reported to the Greene County Sheriff’s Department she paid over $7,000 for a construction job never completed at her home.
The woman told the Greene County Sheriff’s Department this week that she recently paid the suspect to build a porch and redo the roof at her home. The victim gave him $7,500 to buy the lumber and supplies.
The suspect reportedly started to fix the roof, but did not complete it. The victim said she has reached out to him through text, but he always has an excuse to not complete the job. The last text the victim received from the suspect was on October 25 and she has not had any contact with him since then. Any attempts she had made to reach out to him have been unsuccessful.
The suspect was named in the report.
