FEMA and the U.S. Department of Agriculture are joining the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency to host Farmer Recovery Centers today through Thursday, December 12 to assist farmers and agricultural workers affected the September flooding created by the Helene.
Attendees will be able to get help with questions about housing and farm repair assistance, low-interest business loans and reimbursement for disaster-damaged tools, supplies and equipment.
FEMA specialists will provide information on assistance, help with registration and document gathering, and conduct case review.
Locally , the Center will be in Greeneville today from 9:00 am until 7:00 pm at the USDA Service Center at 214 North College Street.
Centers will also be open Wednesday in Sullivan County and Thursday in Washington County.
