Greeneville Police have made an arrest related to a holiday weekend burglary at Parker Hannifin on Snapps Ferry Road.
We told you on Tuesday that two laptops, a headset and a backpack were taken from the company offices over the weekend. Surveillance footage showed a female, unidentified at the time, entering the building twice, believed having picked door locks to gain entry.
Investigation led authorities to the arrest of Chassiti Hazelwood of North Highland Avenue around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon. A police report says another employee of the company, when shown video of the incident, and without knowing who was suspected, said they were 99% sure it was the suspect in question. The reported also states that Hazelwood texted another employee the day before the theft, asking if anyone would be at the plant the following day.
Hazelwood was transported to the Greene County Detention Center to await her initial court appearance.
