The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating an accident around 7:15 Sunday night in the fourteen hundred block of the 107 Cutoff in Greene County.
A car struck a bear, according to preliminary reports. Another car possibly involved in the wreck was reported to have left the scene. The bear did not survive the crash. No one inside the car was injured.
A complete wreck report is not yet on file. The Greene County Sheriff’s Department is investigating
