Greene County School Board Chair Rick Tipton has been named to the Tennessee School Board Association Board of Directors
He was nominated by the 2025 TSBA President, Jayson McDonald, to serve a one-year term from Jan. 1-Dec. 31, 2025 on TSBA’s 18 member Board of Directors.
This is a group of elected school board members from across the state that are elected or appointed to govern the association. The board has three scheduled meetings throughout the year.

A statewide, nonprofit organization, the Tennessee School Boards Association is a federation of all the state’s school boards.
