Charges are pending following a three car crash Friday afternoon.
According to the police report, officers responded to a crash in the 1500 block of Snapps Ferry Road around 2:00 PM, involving a Chevrolet truck driven by Kevin Crumm of Stone Dam Road, Chuckey.
Crumm allegedly crashed into a Volkswagen Rabbit, and the trailer of a third vehicle. When officers made contact with Crumm, they reported a strong odor of alcohol coming from his person, his speech was slurred, and he was irate and yelling.
Persons in the Volkswagen were injured, and one was flown to Johnson City Med Center. The driver of the third vehicle had dash cam footage which allegedly showed Crumm traveling at a high rate of speed at the time of the crash.
A search warrant was requested for a blood draw from Crumm. At this time, charges are pending upon the results according to the report.
