A man wanted on active warrants was charged Thursday with resisting arrest following an incident in the 1700 block of Bill Jones Road.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department responded to the area around 12:30 PM on the report of an unwanted person. As deputies arrived, Jeremy Blagg was seen running from the driver side of a vehicle around to the back side of the home.
Deputies then began a foot pursuit with Blagg through pastures behind the home before finally detaining him.
Blagg had active warrants out of Greene County for violation of probation and failure to appear. He was transported to the Greene County Detention Center and additionally charged with resisting arrest.
