A group of residents who wanted a closer look at how Greeneville government and associated departments work made up what is known as the Citizens Academy.
Members of the most recent Citizens Academy, all by the way who had moved into the area, received their graduation plaques Tuesday during the City Council meeting.
Greeneville Media and Marketing Specialist Christina Potts says the group spent time with City Council, Administration, Finance and HR. On seperate days , they also visited the Roby Center, Public Works and the Airport, Parks and Recreation, the Fire and Police Departments, Building and Planning Development and the Library.
Participants were treated to a reception following the meeting Tuesday
