A pedestrian suffered minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle that fled in an incident Tuesday afternoon.
The Chuckey Pike woman told the Greene County Sheriff’s Department that she went for a walk and was hit around 5:45 PM while on her way back home. The driver, who the victim identified as a female, did not stop.
The victim said she was in pain and was not able to get pictures of the suspect or the vehicle. The victim said the van was possibly a Dodge, but she was unsure of the make or model.
According to the report, the victim denied medical attention, but said she would go to the hospital to be examined if she continued to be in pain.
