A Wind Advisory is in effect for Southeast Greene County from 11:00 tonight until 8:00 AM Thursday.
Winds tonight may gust as high as 45 miles per hour at higher elevations, according to the National Weather Service.
Sustained winds will be 20 to 30 miles per hour in the Camp Creek area and other locations near the North Carolina border. Most other areas will see gusts of 15 miles per hour or less.
There is a chance of rain overnight Thursday and into Friday, but sunshine will quickly return and highs will be back into the mid 70s by Saturday and stay there into the middle of next week.
