More details have been released in the murder of a Greene County couple Friday morning.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Department responded to a home at 566 Hartman Lane around 10:45 Friday morning and found 35-year-old Jessie Wilhoit in the front yard. Wilhoit had called 911 to report that he “did something” and that he believed that the victims had been prostituting his children.
Inside the home, officers found 60-year-old Cassandra Wilhoit in the living room unresponsive with a pool of blood near where she was sitting. In the driveway behind the home, 68-year-old Ray “Allen” Wilhoit was discovered in a pool of blood with several deep lacerations to the back of the head.
Jessie Wilhoit was taken into custody and charged with two counts of first-degree murder. He was arraigned this morning and was appointed a public defender.
