This Saturday is Drug Take Back Day in Greene County, and there will be two locations for community members to dispose of unwanted prescription medications.
Drop-off locations are at South Greene High School on the Asheville Highway and at Community Pharmacy at 1402 Tusculum Boulevard. Both locations will be open Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The event provides a secure way to dispose of medications, reduces the risk of prescription drug misuse, and keeps medication out of the water supply and the environment.
