An Old Kentucky Road West woman was charged with evading arrest after a traffic stop due to switched tags on Monday.
A deputy with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department attempted to stop a PT Cruiser around 2:30 AM after it was discovered the displayed tags were not registered to the vehicle. The driver, later identified as Jenny Jones, allegedly failed to stop and continued traveling until she pulled into her driveway. A search of vehicle produced a glass pipe and a torch.
Jones was charged with evading arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jones said there were children inside the house, ages 2, 16 and 20. She said the 20-year-old was capable of taking care of the other two children. According to the report, a DCS referral was made.
