A Greene County woman reported being assaulted by two people on Saturday.
The victim told deputies that a man and woman, both of whom she named, came to her home on Carpenter’s Chapel Road around 6:30 PM on Saturday. She told deputies that the man, an ex-boyfriend, was not allowed to be there and she had asked them both to leave her property.
The victim said she tried to go back into her home to call 911 when the female suspect began assaulting her. The victim tried to defend herself, at which point the male suspect grabbed a baseball bat and stuck her repeatedly. The male suspect then started striking the victim with his fist. Both suspects then left the scene.
The deputy’s report said that the victim had multiple cuts, abrasions, and a swollen eye. The report said that deputies recovered a ball bat and that blood was observed at the scene.
The report says that warrants will be taken out for the suspects arrest.
