A empty mobile home in Tusculum burned down on Saturday.
The owner told deputies that no one had been living in the trailer nor had there been power in the trailer for about three years.
Tusculum Volunteer Fire Department responded just after 4:30 PM to Summey Reynolds Park off of Cumberland Drive. Also responding were the Camp Creek and Sunnyside departments. Volunteers upon arriving on the scene found the mobile home fully involved and partially collapsed.
Also responding to the scene were EMS, Sheriff’s Department, Chaplain Danny Ricker, and the Debusk Volunteer rehab unit, and the Greeneville Energy Authority.
The owner estimated the loss at $500.
