GOLF:
Bryce Guinn won medalist honors for the day with a 74 and led the Greene Devils to a third place finish. Cherokee took the top spot with a 311, while Jefferson County came in with a 326, followed by Greeneville’s 330. Other scores for the Greene Devils were TJ Coles with an 82, Landon Aldridge an 86, and Conner Shipley an 88.
Greeneville’s girls finished in the top spot with a 154, followed by Northview’s 186 and Morristown East’s 197. Three Lady Devils paced the field throughout the 18-hole tournament. Brylee Catron finished with a 76 to claim another medalist honor, while Kylee Renner finished with a 78, and Kamryn Renner an 81.
The Greene Devils will be back in action Monday morning in the District Tournament at the Morristown Country Club.
